Release Paper, PET Release Film & Functional Packaging Paper – Joypaper
Joypaper provides release paper, PET release film, and food and functional packaging paper for applications including labels, tapes, large-format printing, die-cutting, TPU, carbon fiber, medical dressings, medicated patches, and food packaging. We offer precision coating, PE extrusion coating, low-silicone transfer control, PFAS-free coatings, customized release force, and post-processing services.
JOY PAPER’s coating products are mainly divided into two major series: “Release Paper & PET Release Film” and “Food & Functional Packaging Paper.” Suitable material structures and product specifications can be evaluated based on the paper or film substrate, adhesive type, processing temperature, release performance, and final application.
Release materials are widely used in labels, tapes, large-format printing, die-cutting, TPU, carbon fiber composites, electronic materials, industrial lamination, medical wound dressings, medical fixation tapes, and release liners for medicated patches.
For food and functional packaging papers, suitable paper substrates and functional coatings can be selected based on the food type, oil and moisture content, processing temperature, and packaging requirements.
Coating & Customization Capabilities
JOY PAPER specializes in release coating, PE extrusion coating, and functional paper processing. Material structures and production specifications can be adjusted according to the substrate, adhesive, processing temperature, and actual application conditions.
- Release Coating Weight: Approx. 0.15–3 g/m²
- Release Force Control: Approx. 3–2,000 g, adjustable according to adhesive type, material structure, and testing conditions.
- Low Silicone Transfer Control: Suitable release formulations can be evaluated according to the actual application and adhesive system.
- Material Structures: Single-sided release, double-sided release, printed structures, PE extrusion coating, and functional coatings can be evaluated.
- Functional Coatings: Grease-resistant, water-resistant, barrier, and PFAS-free coatings can be evaluated according to application requirements.
- Post-processing Capabilities: Paper remoisturizing and flattening, slitting, rewinding, sheeting, and customized printing are available.
Release Performance Testing
Release performance can be tested according to FINAT test methods using tesa 7475, Nitto 31, medical tapes, or customer-specified tapes. Product specifications can then be confirmed based on actual lamination, peeling, and processing conditions.
Customized Material Requirements
For customized materials, we recommend providing the substrate type, basis weight or thickness, adhesive type, target release force, processing temperature, dimensions, printing requirements, and estimated volume to facilitate material selection and mass-production feasibility evaluation.

- Coated products can be supplied in master rolls, precision-slit rolls, rewound rolls, or sheets according to customer requirements. Customized printing and post-processing services are also available based on the product structure.
