What types of labels and stickers can JOY PAPER produce?
JOY PAPER provides comprehensive label and sticker printing services to meet the needs of different industries:
Custom labels: product packaging labels, brand logo stickers, transparent stickers, waterproof stickers, and refrigerated/frozen labels.
Functional and variable-data labels: barcode stickers, QR Code stickers, serial-number labels, and logistics shipping labels.
Stock and blank labels: stock warning/food stickers and blank thermal labels.
Note: Label face material, size, shape, adhesive, and delivery format (individual labels/sheets/rolls) can all be flexibly evaluated according to your actual usage conditions.
Can label size, shape, and printed content be customized?
Yes; JOY PAPER can fully customize the size, colors, and visual graphics according to your needs, including brand logos, ingredient information, warning text, and variable barcodes:
Common shapes: round, oval, square, and rectangular.
Special shapes: die-cut and irregular shapes can also be evaluated (special shapes require a custom die).
Can small-quantity custom stickers also be produced?
Yes; JOY PAPER is equipped with digital printing and digital cutting equipment, which can significantly reduce plate-making and die costs, making it highly suitable for small-quantity custom orders:
Suitable applications: new-product trial sales, small-batch handmade products, promotional stickers, sample test labels, and multi-design small packaging runs.
Minimum order quantity: the actual minimum order quantity varies depending on label size, specified material, and the complexity of post-processing. Please provide your specifications for professional evaluation.
Can large-volume label orders be supplied stably over the long term?
Yes; JOY PAPER has long served the food, manufacturing, brand-owner, logistics, and e-commerce sectors:
1. We provide one-stop production services from material evaluation, printing, die cutting, and slitting to finished-product packaging.
2. Production scheduling can be planned according to your batch quantity, delivery frequency, and automatic labeling equipment.
If I do not have a design file, can JOY PAPER assist with layout and design?
Yes; as long as you provide the original logo file, text content, size requirements, and preferred visual style, JOY PAPER can assist with basic prepress layout and artwork checking.
Note: If the project involves brand VI (visual identity) redesign, complex hand-drawn illustrations, or major revisions, the cost and working time will be evaluated separately based on the actual design scope.
How long is the lead time for custom labels and stickers?
In-stock products: Stock stickers and regular blank labels can be shipped quickly when inventory is available.
Custom products: Standard lead time depends on production quantity, material availability, artwork confirmation time, printing process, and post-processing. After the artwork and specifications are confirmed, JOY PAPER will provide a clear production schedule. If you have a required delivery date, please specify it when requesting a quotation.
What materials are available for labels and stickers, and how should I choose?
Material selection should be evaluated based on the material of the surface being labeled, the usage environment, storage period, and printing requirements:

<td>Coated Paper</td>
<td>Good color reproduction and high cost-performance ratio; not waterproof</td>
<td>General product labeling and outer-box sealing stickers</td>

What is the difference between waterproof, oil-resistant, and scratch-resistant stickers?
Waterproof, oil-resistant, and scratch-resistant are different protection requirements and cannot all be covered simply by the term “waterproof sticker”:
Waterproof/oil-resistant: requires dedicated polyester or synthetic face materials with compatible adhesives, plus optional lamination protection (gloss or matte film).
Scratch-resistant/chemical-resistant: depends on the quality of the surface ink, varnish, or laminate layer.
Note: If the label will frequently come into contact with moisture, grease, alcohol, or strong abrasion, please specify this when requesting a quotation to avoid water penetration at the label edges or print fading.
Can transparent stickers be printed in color or with white ink?
Yes; transparent stickers can be printed in full color and can also include a white-ink underlayer.
Design suggestion: when transparent material is applied to dark-colored packaging, colored inks can be affected by the background color. Adding a white-ink base can significantly improve color saturation and contrast.
Can labels be produced for refrigerated or frozen foods?
Yes; labeling in low-temperature environments should be divided into two situations:
Applied at room temperature, then frozen: use an adhesive suitable for room-temperature application and low-temperature storage.
Applied directly to a low-temperature or frosted surface: use a special low-temperature adhesive with high initial tack and moisture resistance.
Before full-scale production, we strongly recommend providing the actual packaging material for a low-temperature adhesion test.
Can labels be produced for outer food packaging? Can they come into direct contact with food?
Outer packaging labels: JOY PAPER can produce outer-box and outer-bag stickers that meet food-labeling needs, including ingredients, nutrition facts, and expiration dates.
Direct food contact: General packaging labels must not come into direct contact with food. If the sticker needs to be applied directly to food surfaces (such as fruit), face materials and special adhesives that comply with food-safety regulations must be used.
Can labels and stickers be applied to cartons, plastic, glass, or metal?
Yes, but the adhesive must be matched to the surface:
Rough cartons: require higher initial tack to prevent edge lifting or detachment.
Low-surface-energy plastics (such as PP/PE): require specially enhanced adhesive materials.
Glass/metal: condensation, curved-surface tension, and temperature fluctuations must be considered.
Can barcode stickers, QR Code stickers, and serial-number labels be produced?
Yes; JOY PAPER can print variable-data labels such as barcodes, QR Codes, and sequential serial numbers:
To ensure reliable barcode scanning, barcode proportions, quiet zones, print contrast, and resolution are strictly checked before production.
Before large-volume printing, on-site verification using the actual scanner or POS equipment is recommended.
Can roll labels and stickers for automatic labeling machines be produced?
Yes; when used with automatic labeling machines or label printers, JOY PAPER can precisely control the following specifications:
Label orientation (winding direction): forward winding, reverse winding, head-first, tail-first, and other standard orientations, with 8 standard winding directions available.
Roll specifications: label gap, liner width, core inner diameter (such as 1 in / 3 in), and maximum roll outer diameter.
Sensor method: Gap, Black Mark, or continuous media.
What blank label specifications does JOY PAPER offer?
JOY PAPER provides a wide range of blank thermal labels commonly used for logistics waybills (such as 100 × 150 mm / 4 × 6 in), shipping labels, and warehouse labels:
Supply formats: roll type (for internal printer loading) and fanfold type (for external feed and high-volume printing).
Special customization: special sizes, three-proof thermal paper (water-, oil-, and scratch-resistant), special core diameters, or anti-stick adhesive options can also be evaluated for production.
What standard-stock stickers does JOY PAPER have available?
Stock stickers eliminate design and die-making costs and are ideal for quickly replenishing daily-use inventory:
Logistics warnings: Handle with Care, Fragile, This Side Up, Do Not Drop, Keep Dry.
Food labeling: Refrigerated Item, Frozen Item, Expiration Date, Best Before Date.
Inventory changes with sales; for urgent orders, please provide the required designs and quantities for confirmation by our staff.
What information should be provided before requesting a quotation for labels and stickers?
The more complete the information, the faster we can provide an accurate quotation and material recommendation:
Size and shape (L × W mm)
Expected production quantity
Material of the application surface and usage environment (e.g. applied to frozen plastic bags or glass bottles, and whether exposed to water or oil)
Labeling method and delivery format (manual/automatic labeling; single pieces/sheets/rolls)
Print file or design artwork
Can label testing be carried out before full-scale mass production?
Highly recommended; especially for refrigerated/frozen environments, high humidity, oily surfaces, rough cartons, low-surface-energy plastics, or curved containers, JOY PAPER recommends requesting samples or arranging a small trial application first. Test adhesion and durability under actual conditions to ensure smooth mass production.
