Outdoor UV-Resistant & High-Temperature Masking Tape - Blue (FAQ)
JOY PAPER's provides professional UV-resistant masking tape with weather resistance, UV resistance, and good masking performance, suitable for outdoor construction, paint masking, and long-duration work.
Why is this high-temperature, UV-resistant masking tape “blue”? How is it different from the standard white version?
The blue backing provides high visual contrast, allowing workers to quickly identify masked areas and confirm complete tape removal. More importantly, the blue version uses a high-density UV-resistant backing and a specially formulated heat-resistant pressure-sensitive adhesive, designed for high-temperature baking and strong outdoor sunlight exposure; the standard white version is intended only for normal-temperature indoor environments.
What width specifications are available for the blue outdoor UV-resistant, high-temperature masking tape? Can special sizes be customized?
JOY PAPER offers 18 mm (suitable for detailed edges and precision automotive masking) and 48 mm (suitable for large-area masking and window-frame protection), which are among the most commonly used standard widths in the industry. If your processing equipment or work environment requires a special slit width, we can provide flexible custom sizing services.
What is the maximum temperature that JOY PAPER's blue high-temperature, UV-resistant masking tape can withstand?
The heat-resistant pressure-sensitive adhesive used in this product can stably withstand common automotive paint-baking and industrial coating temperatures (approximately 100°C–120°C under typical baking conditions; the specific temperature resistance can be tested and evaluated according to your actual process conditions). After baking, the tape can still be removed with clean, even edges and without adhesive residue.
