Standard Indoor Masking Tape - White (FAQ)
JOY PAPER's provides professional standard masking tape, suitable for paint masking, interior decoration, home DIY, marking and writing, and various temporary fixing needs.
What color is JOY PAPER's standard indoor masking tape? What width specifications are available?
This model uses a classic white paper backing. It is available in standard widths commonly used on job sites, including 10 mm, 20 mm, 30 mm, 40 mm, and 50 mm. If your workflow or workpiece requires a special width, such as extra-narrow line masking or extra-wide masking, we can also provide precise custom slitting services.
Can the white standard indoor masking tape be used outdoors under sunlight?
Not recommended; the adhesive system of the white standard indoor tape is formulated for normal-temperature indoor environments. If exposed outdoors to ultraviolet (UV) rays or high temperatures, the adhesive may age and deteriorate, causing adhesive residue. For outdoor work or high-temperature baking applications, please use JOY PAPER's blue “Outdoor UV-Resistant & High-Temperature Masking Tape.”
How can I avoid peeling off indoor wall latex paint when removing masking tape?
Paint peeling is usually related to the paint not being fully dry or insufficient adhesion of the old paint layer. It is recommended to remove the tape slowly and evenly at a 45-degree angle when the paint surface is slightly dry but not fully hardened. For old or easily peeling wall surfaces, test on a small area first.
