Double-sided PE Coated Release Paper is made by applying PE coating to both sides of the paper, followed by single- or double-sided silicone release coating on the PE surfaces according to processing requirements.
Paper absorbs and releases moisture as ambient temperature and humidity change, which can cause dimensional shrinkage and curl. Double-sided PE creates a two-way moisture barrier on both sides, greatly reducing environmental humidity effects. Compared with single-sided PE, stress is more balanced across the structure, providing excellent flatness, stiffness and dimensional stability.

• Joypaper provides precision release-coating weight control of 0.15–3 g/m² and release force from 3–2,000 g, with multiple double-sided structures:
• Glossy / Glossy PE: smooth glossy surfaces on both sides for consistent appearance and excellent flatness.
• Glossy / Matte PE: one glossy and one matte side for easier processing-direction identification and varied lamination effects.
• Double-sided release coating: release functionality on both sides for double-sided tapes and composite-material protection.
• Differential release: different peel forces can be precisely set on each side, such as light release on one side and heavy release on the other, for staged peeling, transfer and specialty composite processing.

Stock Specifications

• Multiple base papers and release systems
• Available substrates include white kraft, yellow kraft, natural kraft, MG white kraft, woodfree paper and coated paper. Solvent-based, solventless or water-based release systems can be selected according to the specified adhesive. Release performance can be measured according to FINAT test standards using tesa 7475, Nitto 31 or a specified tape so product specifications closely match the actual process.
